安静: 好用。 充电用多久取决于你用那些application的时间。 如果是光打电话，用两天没问题。 那些application 很好，比如我现在用google map就不用GPS了，我一般用的比较简

I don't think MS would catch up.  I hope gphone will...

My most favorite iPhone software is pardonra, which is free.
You can listen to all the music that you like and it searches for you. I know the software is available on pc too. But on iphone is so
convenient...

u know any freeware for iPhone. I found one from App Store, but only 24 hours free.  It's called GolfLogix

星光. There is no trick. Just call AT&T after one month to break the contract. AT&T will probably tell you that "had you called us one day earlier, you would not need to pay the $175 penalty".

Of course you will need to know how to unlock your iPhone. By default the phone is locked to AT&T.

There are tons of free software on the Apple Store, including special readers for WenxueCity and MITBBS. Very usable.

I think you have to have an iphone first to do so. In another word,
it has to be an upgrade.

Are you sure you can unlock 3.1 on 3gs? Could you provide a link?

如果这样的话，那应该说iphone 已经 catch up MS。  Window mobile OS已经有很多年历史。在smart phone 之前，它是用在PDA上。好多年前我有个带wifi的PDA，很好玩的。

Windows mobile has almost zero people outside MS to develop
software while apple has a ton. Media has bombarded us about
someone took a week to write $.99 game and ends up being
a millionaire.  If you write a win mobile app, how do you sell it?
For apple the impression people has is you can walk into apple
and sell it through appstore. Or you can sell it through cydia.

Windows mobile is like a win95 while iphone is
like a windows 7.

You can buy a 3GS for $199, or a 3G for $99, 2-year contract is required.

Yeah, I know that. But comrade deep is misleading people to
believe that one can get a brand new one for $200 without a contract.  It sounds like yesterday's news...

我用的是ATT 的family plan.  90块1400分钟，70块700分钟。这是voice, 用iphone 一般要买data plan - 30块钱一个iphone, 两个人用就是60块。


iphone 确实好用。我的一个印度同事最近买了，他说用上后才知道它改变了生活。
