Convince me to buy a smart phone

I consider myself a tech enthusiast. But my mobile phone is as dumb as it gets. The reasons are

1. I am not a chatter and I make calls only when necessary. I prefer to browse forums instead.

2. The 800*480 resolution, does not seem to be a good Internet platform at all. In fact, even a netbook with a 1024 x 600 resolution is still a miserable experience. I need 720p for real enjoyment of the Internet.

3. I am online on a computer most of my awake time anyway.

Is any reason for me to get a smart phone? Am I missing anything without one?

To your point 1: You do fine browsing internet forums with a smart phone.

Point 3: Now you can be online NOT on a computer, if you want.

Online anytime u want, means u have a lot more chance get online, like when u sit on toilet.

you will become more active and less on your computer once you have smart phone. Cuz you know you can get the needed information on your phone when needed and not at home.

Best of all, when you are bored, with someone , in a party, or being alone at a public place, you can look like you got something important to do on your phone than look like lonely or lost.

Once you have made up your mind nobody can convince you other than yourself.

For your own health, you need to get away from your computer more, such as running more. Whether you need smart phone, is a different topic.
