谈仔裤好嘛?
I probably get more wear out of my jeans than out of anything else I own.
But with the dizzying array of brands and styles out there, finding the perfect pair of jeans can seem even more overwhelming than buying a swimsuit.
Is it the triple digits price tags worth paying for?
我的体会:
1. Buy the pair that makes your butt look its best.
2. Wear boot-cut or straight-leg jeans
3. Choose the simplest, least embellished styles you can find.
One of The key elements in how a pair of jeans fit is the ‘rise’ – the distance from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband, there are two ways to go wrong here. At one extreme, jeans that ride really low on the hips are for teenagers ( expose love handlers). At the other extreme, jeans than come all the way up to your waist scream ‘Old’. The high rise makes hips look hipper, tummy pouffier, butt and thighs fuller than they need to.
What we want is a mid-low-rise. You are looking for an eight – to nine inch rise –still well below the belly button, but not too low as if you bending over and having your underwear show.
The solution I came out is that jean ride low in front but significantly higher in back. I heard that Chip & Pepper has the similar clever cut. |
