An Oak tree in the fall

There is an oak tree, which is tall, big, rough in my front yard and looks like an old woman.
When I was a little girl, I used to play around the oak tree, especially in the fall when acorns had fallen on the ground, I was curious about them.
I asked my grandpa, “What are these?”
He answered, “Acorns. They are children of the oak.”
“Why do they leave the oak?” I asked.
My grandpa was laughing and answered, “Silly girl, because they are ripe.”
I asked again, “Why are they ripe? Must they be ripe?”
My grandpa explained patiently, “You should know everything will be ripe.”
Suddenly I fell in silence and felt so sad. My grandpa didn’t pay attention and left.
His steps were clumsy. I cried and said to myself, “My grandpa is ripe and will leave.”
A breeze began to blow through the oak tree. She murmured as if she was saying to me, “Don’t cry, silly girl. Everything will be ripe and then leave.”
“Are you sad?” I asked the oak tree, “When all the acorns fell and rot on the ground.”
“No, I’m not sad at all.” she murmured, “ They’ll return.”
“You are silly, They won’t come back, never.” I exclaimed.
“You don’t know. You only think you know. I hope you’ll be wise, not only ripe.” The oak tree answered then she was silent, I tried to shake her trunk, but she didn’t make a sound. So I just collected acorns quietly.
Time passed and I grew up. My grandpa had gone to another world. Later I left my yard and the oak tree.
Somehow, my hands still smell of acorns. My heart still keeps a question for the oak tree, “After the acorns are ripe and leave you, do they return?”
I’m walking clumsily on the road, far away.
秋天里的老橡树

我家前院有一棵老橡树，又高又大又粗犷，它必定是有生命的，我总是把她想成一位老奶奶--脸上爬满了皱纹，眼睛里装满了故事。
当我还是一个小女孩，我常常围着老橡树玩。深秋，橡子和着枯叶铺满地，我踩在上面，每动一下，都会有一个疑问伴着“沙沙”地响声从嘴里冒出来。
我总是缠着爷爷嚷嚷：“这是什么，那是什么？”
爷爷教会我很多，他说，橡子是橡树的孩子们，我深信不疑。哪个大人都应该有孩子，可是,橡树的孩子为什么要离开她，不好好地留在树上呢?
爷爷憨厚地笑着，然后回答我:“傻丫头，因为它们成熟了。”
我又有了新问题，“它们为什么要成熟，难道它们必须得成熟吗？”
爷爷耐心地解释，“你得知道，一切东西最后都要成熟的。”
刹那间，我不说话了，心里很难过。可是爷爷没有注意到，然后转身走了。他的步履蹒跚，那宽宽的肩膀已经不够笔直了。我哭着对自己说：“爷爷已经成熟了，他要离开我了。”
一阵风吹过，老橡树好像在对我说话，“不要哭，傻丫头。一切都将成熟，然后离开。”
“你伤心吗？”我问老橡树，“当所有的橡子都落了，然后腐烂。”
“不，我一点儿都不伤心，”老橡树低语，“他们总有一天会回来。”
“你真傻，他们永远都不会回来了。”我大声说。
“你还什么都不懂，可是你以为你懂。我希望有一天你不仅是成熟了，还要有智慧。”橡树说完了，就陷入了沉默。我试着摇它的树干，但是它什么反应都没有，我只好安静地蹲在地上捡橡子。
时间飞逝，我长大了，爷爷去了另一个世界，然后我离开了家，离开了老橡树。
不知道为什么，我的手上一直沁着橡子的香味，我的心里一直有个问题，我想问老橡树，“当所有的橡子成熟了，离开你以后，有没有谁回来过？”
我笨拙地走在路上，渐行渐远。
