Does anyone know how to import transactions from Access to Quicken?
I got quicken recently and some institutions don't allow direct download; in the past I have manually inputted these transactions into Access. I would rather not duplicate the effort in Quicken. Any help would be appreciated.
What Access? MS Access database or another accounting tool?
I used to use MS Money, but it stopped. I bought quichen and I do not think it has all functions Money had.

Yeah, MS Access. Database is a lot more flexible, I can categorize the data and run query against the data.
fancao: But the database does nto allow download data frm back. It is hard to reconcile. How do you do it?
Well, I bite the bullet and manually enter the data. The reason I bought Quicken was because I got tired of doing all these manual work....but it is definately not good enough.
fancao: Most of my accounts can be downloaded using quicken.
Well, I have 30% of accounts I can't import through Quicken, and Quicken is not as flexible. I have a system of classification for the holdings that I own.
