1. Before the 20th century, Europeans still looked down on the United States. Although the Americans had driven away the British who were asking for taxes with guns and cannons at that time, they still loved their "motherland" and obeyed the British. But the British were different. At the World Expo held in London in 1851, the British humor magazine Punch said sourly: "In a fleet consisting of only a few small boats, all the assets of American art and manufacturing are there... A few Colt revolvers are placed on a pile of soap, and pickles from Cincinnati float on vinegar and honey." There was no mention of the highly technological McCormick reaper. There were not many angry young people in the United States at that time, and they were very patient with these satirical attacks.

2. Later, the United States fought a civil war, cleared the obstacles, and capitalism flourished. It was time to spit out the pent-up anger. In 1893, the United States held the World Expo in Chicago. This time, the country changed its weapons: the Ferris wheel, Edison electric light, and Kodak film replaced revolvers, and soap and pickles were replaced by amber popcorn, Wrigley gum, and Blue Ribbon beer, showing the world its infinite charm and embarking on the road to becoming a powerful country.

3. At that time, the United States relied on high technology, and these things were made by Americans themselves, and they were genuine. But think about what kind of people were the early immigrants to the United States to start businesses? Princeton professor John D. Gartner wrote a book to prove that under extremely difficult circumstances and insurmountable difficulties, almost all those who crossed the ocean to the New World were "hypomania patients" and their descendants, such as the founding fathers Hamilton, Ford, and Carnegie. Among Americans, the D4-7 allele (D4-7 repeat allele) is very high. This gene may be the root cause of mania. Mania symptoms are daring to take risks, being energetic, forgetting everything when working, and being extremely enthusiastic, excited and crazy.

If the first large-scale migration of humans out of Africa was the first, then there was a second migration. Although the latter was smaller in scale than the former, it was huge in meaning, and its direction was opposite to the first. If each migration is a screening, the second migration means three screenings based on the genes of multiple tribes.

4. Because historically, some Germanic tribes fled their homes and wandered outside because of the invasion of Genghis Khan. They later settled in the Roman Empire, completing the first screening of the second migration. After the collapse of the Roman Empire, some of their tribes traveled across the English Channel to the British Isles, completing the second screening. From there, immigrants whose ancestors were Englishmen (Englanders specially) from Germanic tribes and Angolan Saxon tribes boarded the "Mayflower" and subsequent ships and landed in the New World, completing the third screening. Every time the selection was done, those who left were those who were active, restless, and easily emotional, leaving those who followed the rules, were law-abiding, and honest. The genes for being active, restless, and emotional were strengthened and amplified again and again. After three times, these characteristics of their offspring became very obvious.

5. In this way, it seems that the scientists' analysis that the D4-7 allele accounts for a high proportion of American genes (this is the so-called "success" gene) is not groundless.

6. The ancestors of Americans were all restless people, and their descendants were also candidates for entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, and managers, but they could not be pragmatic and could not bury themselves in the tediousness of daily labor. Therefore, they went to Africa and Asia to buy or even rob slaves to do hard physical work for them.

7. When the world entered the 20th century, science and technology developed unprecedentedly, and physical labor was gradually replaced by machines. The coolies from Africa could not adapt to the needs of the new situation, and mental labor needed to be completed by human resources. It coincided with the First and Second World Wars, and the old world was in chaos. The stable and prosperous United States has attracted many scientists at the forefront of world science and technology, as well as experts and technicians from all walks of life, through its preferential immigration policy, and they continue to study in the new world (Einstein came to Princeton at this time). With strong scientific and technological strength and the gold standard replacing the silver standard, the Americans took over the position of hegemony from the British in one fell swoop.

8. The US dollar is the key. The cutting edge of all walks of life is done by foreigners. Where are those native-born and the smartest Americans? On Wall Street! The pay on Wall Street is very high, and the careers there are very challenging, attracting adventurous, energetic workaholics and emotionally excited people. There are real Americans, real elites, who have the D4-7 allele, and they are the descendants of patients with mania.

9. Therefore, it seems that mastering "hard" knowledge and working hard are not important. Anyway, all kinds of talents in the world are trying their best to get here. The application standards for prestigious American universities have become "softer". Students are required to be versatile, adventurous, and have leadership skills. Academic performance is secondary. This is the true American offspring. As a result, it seems that the educational policies of primary and secondary schools have changed. Since the 1970s, the scores of American primary and secondary school students have always ranked at the bottom in international unified examinations. American decision-makers are not worried at all.

10. Then the computer and Internet era arrived. Microsoft, Apple, Intel, Dell... and later Alpha, Amazon, Facebook (the correct translation of Facebook)... emerged in an endless stream, far ahead of the world.
