“There's no place like home”再唱下去,林肯总统也可能要成为逃兵。
作者Jack Kerouac说,人们对“Beat”的理解是不准确的:“It implies the feeling of having been used, of being raw. It involves a sort of nakedness of mind, and ultimately, of soul: a feeling of being reduced to the bedrock of consciousness. In short, it means being undramatically pushed up against the wall of oneself.”
但我还是喜欢另一张,Don Henley在原音里面的嘶叫:“Last thing I remember, I was running for the door / I had to find the passage back to the place I was before / ‘Relax.’ Said the night man, ‘we are programmed to receive. You can check-out any time you like. But you can never leave!
Phillip Phillips有一首歌《Home》,歌词里有一段清醒的教诲:“Don't pay no mind to the demons / They fill you with fear / The trouble it might drag you down / You get lost, you can always be found”
《Home》
Hold on, to me as we go
As we roll down this unfamiliar road
And although this wave (wave) is stringing us along
Just know you're not alone
Cause I'm gonna make this place your home
Settle down, it'll all be clear
Don't pay no mind to the demons
They fill you with fear
The trouble it might drag you down
You get lost, you can always be found
Just know you're not alone
Cause I'm gonna make this place your home
Settle down, it'll all be clear
Don't pay no mind to the demons
They fill you with fear
The trouble it might drag you down
If you get lost, you can always be found
Just know you're not alone
Cause I'm gonna make this place your home
